On September 4, 2025, North Coast Medical Training College had the honor of hosting a health awareness discussion on fibroids, organized by the STUFAC Club and led by guest speaker Dr. Abdallah Fankupi.
The session focused on an important health topic, providing students and staff with an opportunity for learning, connection, and empowerment.
STUFAC Chairperson Antony Baraka expressed his appreciation to students, teachers, non-teaching staff, and guests who attended. “The session was very educative — I was able to understand more about fibroids,” he said. His comments were supported by other students, who said they were glad to gain more knowledge about fibroids, a condition that continues to affect many lives, and valued the chance to deepen their understanding.
Dr. Abdallah’s contribution was described as invaluable, with participants praising his expertise and practical insights.
These engagements demonstrate NCMTC’s ongoing commitment to enhancing health education and preparing future healthcare professionals.
