On December 5th, 2025, North Coast Medical Training College (NCMTC) proudly hosted its 18th Graduation Ceremony at the college’s Graduation Square. The event marked a significant milestone in the institution’s journey of excellence in medical education and brought together esteemed guests, faculty, graduates, and families to celebrate the achievements of the Class of 2025.

Chief Guest Mr.James Akudian
The ceremony was honored by the distinguished Chief Guest, Mr. James Akudian from the Clinical Officers Council, representing the CEO’s office. In his inspiring speech, Hon. Akudian urged the graduates to see the moment not as an end, but as a beginning: “Let this milestone be the start of bigger achievements. May you go forward and transform communities, uplift families, and strengthen our health system,” he said.
The celebration began with a lively academic procession led by the college faculty and the graduates, all dressed in full academic regalia. The atmosphere was full of pride, hope, and excitement as the graduates prepared to move into the next stage of their careers.
In her address, Madam Dorothy Tenai, Principal of NCMTC, congratulated the graduates for their resilience, commitment, and hard work throughout their training. She reaffirmed the college’s dedication to delivering high-quality medical education and emphasized the importance of continuous learning and professional growth in the healthcare field.
The Board of Management, led by Dr. Julius Maina, also shared powerful words of encouragement. Dr. Maina reminded the graduates that healthcare is more than a career—“it is a calling that demands integrity, patience, compassion, empathy, and responsiveness.”
He added that the graduates are not only professionals, but also healthcare advocates and agents of change whose work will impact the health system and communities they serve.
His message was echoed by all BOM members, who emphasized the importance of discipline, compassion, and commitment in the journey ahead.
“Don’t take your employment just as a job, but as a relationship with those you serve. You will carry their stories, their gratitude, and their humanity with you forever,” they advised.
Graduates were then awarded their diplomas and certificates, marking the successful completion of their rigorous training programs. The joy, pride, and sense of accomplishment were clearly visible as families and lecturers celebrated the milestones achieved.
North Coast Medical Training College reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to producing competent, compassionate, and ethical healthcare professionals. The 18th Graduation Ceremony stands as a testament to the college’s dedication to academic excellence and its significant role in shaping the future of healthcare in the region.
Congratulations to the Class of 2025!
We wish all graduates success in their future endeavors as they begin their careers in various healthcare fields both locally and internationally.
