NCMTC Machakos Participates in Community Awareness Campaign to Mark World TB Day.

Category : Awareness

NCMTC Machakos marked World TB Day by participating in  a community focused awareness campaign at Muumandu Primary School, aimed at strengthening the fight against tuberculosis (TB) through education, prevention, and early intervention.

The campaign  brought together students, teachers, and members of the local community in a vibrant and engaging outreach designed to increase awareness about TB. Key messages focused on recognizing symptoms, preventing transmission, and the importance of early diagnosis and adherence to treatment.

As part of the campaign, the NCMTC Machakos team conducted interactive health education sessions, encouraging open discussions and empowering participants with knowledge to protect themselves and others.

“This campaign is about more than awareness — it is about empowering our community to take action against TB,” the team emphasized. “We not only serve this community, we belong to it, and together we can end TB.”

The initiative reflects NCMTC  Machakos’ ongoing commitment to public health and its role in supporting national and global efforts to eliminate tuberculosis.

The campaign was marked by strong participation and enthusiasm, highlighting the community’s readiness to take part in improving health outcomes.

NCMTC Machakos extends its gratitude to all partners, participants, and supporters who contributed to the success of the campaign.

Together, we can end TB.
