On Saturday, May 9, 2026, North Coast Medical Training College held a successful and impactful Medical Outreach to improve access to essential healthcare services and promote community health awareness.
The outreach brought together healthcare professionals, students, partners, and community members in a collaborative effort to deliver quality healthcare services to residents of Machakos and surrounding areas.
During the outreach, members of the public benefited from a wide range of free medical services including:
- General consultation and treatment
- Family planning services
- Immunization services
- Health education and awareness
- Random blood sugar testing
- Tuberculosis (TB) screening
- Chest X-ray services
- Eye clinic examination and treatment
- Road safety training
- First aid training
- Social Health Authority (SHA) registration support
The event also provided an important platform for community engagement, preventive healthcare education, and early detection of health conditions.
Speaking during the outreach, the College leadership emphasized the institution’s commitment to community service, preventive healthcare, and training healthcare professionals who are responsive to societal needs.
