On 25th April 2026, North Coast Medical Training College (NCMTC) proudly joined the global community in marking World Malaria Day, in partnership with the Kilifi County Government and other key stakeholders. The event, held at Kibaoni in Kilifi County, brought together leading actors in the health sector and was graced by the County CECM for Health, Dr. Mwarogo.
This year’s commemoration reinforced a critical message: malaria prevention remains the most effective pathway to healthier communities and improved quality of life. Through awareness creation, community engagement, and promotion of preventive measures, stakeholders reaffirmed their shared commitment to reducing the burden of malaria across the county.
We are especially honored that North Coast Medical Training College has once again been recognized as a Malaria Champion in Kilifi County for the second consecutive year. This recognition reflects our unwavering dedication to advancing public health, strengthening community outreach, and equipping future healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to combat malaria and other preventable diseases.
At NCMTC, we firmly believe that sustainable health outcomes are achieved through strong partnerships and collective action. By working hand in hand with government agencies, development partners, and local communities, we continue to champion innovative and impactful health interventions.
Together, we can build a malaria-free future and healthier communities for all.
