The Aging and Disability Support Course consists of two interconnected certificates which are offered as one course as they together give a qualification that can give access to working internationally with major employers.

 

Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability)

While learning in Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability) course you will develop core skills in delivering person-centred care, skills related to community and residential care settings and foundational support skills.

This course prepares students to deliver person-centered care to individuals requiring support due to ageing, disability, or chronic conditions. The program focuses on empowering clients to maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Training covers individualized care planning, communication techniques, health and safety practices, and supporting daily living activities.

 

Certificate IV Ageing Support

During the Certificate IV in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability)  course you will develop skills in aged care and elder support, skills in supporting dignity, independence, and wellbeing and advanced support skills

This course prepares students to deliver person-centered care to individuals requiring support due to ageing, disability, or chronic conditions. The program focuses on empowering clients to maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Training covers individualized care planning, communication techniques, health and safety practices, and supporting daily living activities.

 

Course Duration:

Each of the two Certificate programs runs for 6 months (26 weeks each).

 

Minimum Entry Requirements:

  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary School Examination (KCSE)
  • A diploma or certificate in any health-related field
  • Before embarking on Certificate Level IV, students should have completed Certificate Level III.

Mode of Training:
Training is delivered full-time using a blended model (combination of online and in-person sessions).

Introduction fee for the course: 600,000 KES both Certificates combined
