North Coast Medical Training College (NCMTC) has established a strategic academic partnership with Signet Institute of Australia, an Australian Registered Training Organisation delivering vocational education in multiple countries. Through this collaboration, NCMTC offers Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF)–accredited programmes in healthcare and community services that are delivered in Kenya under Australian academic, assessment, and quality assurance standards. The partnership enables students to access internationally recognised qualifications while studying locally, ensuring training outcomes that meet global workforce expectations and professional benchmarks.
This partnership is aimed at strengthening international employability and expanding global pathways for NCMTC graduates, particularly within healthcare, aged care, mental health, and community services sectors. Training is delivered through a blended model combining face-to-face instruction, practical learning, and competency-based assessments, with academic oversight and support from Signet Institute of Australia. By aligning Kenyan healthcare training with internationally recognised standards, the NCMTC–Signet partnership represents a significant step toward globally competitive education and skills development.
