lCPP Transition Day: Celebrating Student Growth and New Beginnings

North Coast Medical Training College (NCMTC) today marked a special milestone with the celebration of International Career Preparatory Program (ICPP )Transition Day, The event celebrated the graduation of ICPP students who are now fully prepared to embark on their nursing studies, set to commence on 2nd September.

The graduating students expressed their joy and gratitude, appreciating the college for providing a foundation that not only sharpened their academic abilities but also shaped their character, strengths, and potential. Speaking on behalf of the class, student  Ndubi Patience noted that the program had equipped them with invaluable life skills such as communication, learning how to learn, and handling people within the community.

The celebrations were officially opened by Dr. Reuben Waswa, who emphasized that the ICPP program is designed to nurture self-discovery and personal growth. He commended the parents who entrusted their children to the program and expressed pride in seeing the students progress to the next stage of their professional journey.

“ICPP is becoming a popular course, open to any student who has completed Form Four or is pursuing other studies,” said Dr. Waswa. “It is a foundation for self-discovery that strengthens your ability to succeed in your profession. For nursing students, it means becoming distinguished nurses who are competent, confident, and employable internationally. These are the benefits of gaining generic skills through ICPP.”

The ceremony concluded with heartfelt congratulations to the graduating students, coupled with best wishes as they transition to nursing training.
