A wave of pride and inspiration swept through North Coast Medical Training College (NCMTC) as the institution celebrated its 17th Graduation Ceremony at the Main Campus in Bomani, Kilifi County. The event brought together families, faculty, partners, and well-wishers to honor the academic and personal achievements of the graduating class of 2025.
The day was made even more special with the presence of the Honorable Mr. Kinoti Bonface Gatobu, Director of the Equity Group Foundation, who graced the occasion as Chief Guest. In his keynote address, Mr. Gatobu commended the graduates for their resilience, discipline, and dedication. He emphasized the vital role they will play in transforming healthcare delivery across Kenya and beyond.
These graduates are not only equipped with technical knowledge but also with the compassion and character needed to serve and heal,” he said.
The graduation celebrated the accomplishments of students in diverse healthcare fields, including nursing, clinical medicine, orthopedics and more. Their journey has not been easy—marked by long nights of study, rigorous practical sessions, and intense community-based clinical experiences. Yet, their perseverance has paid off, and they are now ready to take on the world as skilled healthcare professionals
Among the day’s most moving moments was the recognition of graduates whose education was made possible through the support of partners like the Community Health Promotion Fund (CHPF). One such success story is that of Bidii Karisa, whose dream to become a healthcare worker came true thanks to the generous backing of CHPF and donors.
‘As we continue to celebrate our graduates and their remarkable achievements, we also take a moment to highlight the inspiring success stories made possible through the incredible support of our partners,” said the college principal. “We deeply appreciate CHPF and all the individuals and organizations that believe in the mission of transforming lives through education.
The class of 2025 now confidently enters the healthcare field—equipped with knowledge, compassion, and a strong sense of purpose. From local clinics to national hospitals and international aid efforts, they are ready to uplift communities and bring hope to those who need it .
As the ceremony came to a close, a common message rang loud and clear: this graduation is not the end, but the beginning of a lifelong commitment to care, service, and excellence.
