Pharmaceutical Technology

This comprehensive three-year Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to work in the dynamic field of pharmacy. Students will also gain practical experience in pharmaceutical compounding, dispensing, research and quality control, ensuring they are well-prepared for the professional environment.

 

Throughout the program, students will develop a strong foundation in the principles of pharmacy practice, pharmaceutical technology, Entrepreneurship and drug regulation. The curriculum also emphasizes ethical standards, Pharmacovigilance and patient care, fostering professionals who can meet the healthcare needs of the community.

Entry Requirements:

Applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications:

– A mean grade of C (Plain) in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or its equivalent as equated by the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC).

– A minimum of C (Plain) in each of the following four cluster subjects:

– English or Kiswahili

  – Chemistry or Physical Science

  – Biology or Biological Science

  – Mathematics or Physics
