Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing
Talk of one of the oldest health professions, it is Nursing.
Modern nursing was established by Florence Nightingale, a British nurse. She established St. Thomas’ Hospital and the Nightingale Training School for Nurses in 1860. Her efforts to reform healthcare has greatly influenced nursing as a profession up to date. If by nature you’re compassionate, empathetic and of high integrity like Florence Nightingale, then nursing is the course for you.
The demand for nurses is very far from being satisfied in Kenya and the world over. As by 2020, about 35,000 nurses were required to fill the gap in nursing service in Kenya alone (ResearchGate). Our aim at North Coast is to train not only for the local market but also for markets in the developed countries like Great Britain, USA, Australia, and the like.
There are many specialized areas you can pursue after the diploma course, for example paediatric, renal, ophthalmic, ICU, midwifery, theatre nursing, among others. You can also progress to a degree, master and even PhD. Do not hesitate to join this noble profession – Apply now
